Recently I have become one of the “singles” in a world that is so different from when I was an original single person in my 20’s. Oh my the drama out there now…must have missed all that when I was growing up!!! So many people want their cake and to eat it too and what a ME, ME, it’s all about ME society. I am glad I was out of this for a long period of time and that I decided to marry and raise a child who has been able to think about the welfare of others in society. But now that all of that is out of the way, or nearly, I can become one of those me people. Because I did put myself on hold for a long time to do for my family first. Now it is my turn to focus on me. So what have I done after becoming single again, tried the dating scene, but whoa!!! way to much drama out there for me!!! I don’t want someone else’s problems dragging me down like an anchor…you know the exgf’s lurking around, calling and emailing to see what their exbf is doing…..do I really want that? NO!!!
So I am hanging around the house, nothing to do right now, cause of some surgery…and low and behold I find this website…what better way to make some goals for yourself, and seeing that other people have similar goals, give some cheering on to others and receiving some in return, and keep checking to see if you are doing something about it or just languishing in your own self-pity party….. I think this will be fun…
